MY “WHY”

When I was younger, I would spend a week or two at my grandmother’s house. During each visit, we would go to her parents’ (my great-grandparents) house to spend time with them. As they got older, their mobility began to slightly deteriorate, and they began to need more assistance in their day-to-day activities. Although I was never asked or forced to help them, I did so proudly and excitedly. I vividly remember my great-grandmother asking me if I was sure I wanted to assist her. My four-year-old self proudly and excitedly responded, “I’m here to SERVE!” Even though four-year-old me had no idea of the journey ahead, that statement could not be more true! I have dedicated my time to volunteering, mentoring, and serving others through various organizations, clubs, and mission work. Now, as a doula, I am able to passionately continue my desire to serve others. My goal is to empower, uplift, inform, and encourage my clients to make the best decisions for their families.  Unbiased, nonjudgmental support is of the utmost importance to me. Whether you are having your first child or your eighth child,  home birth or hospital birth, I am proud to support you!
